Festa del Roser a Martorell

When autumn comes, Martorell gets ready to host the Festa del Roser ( Festival of the Virgin Mary of Roser), one of its most unique and emblematic celebrations, which revives the town’s wine-growing history and invites everyone to enjoy a few days packed with activities, flavours and traditions for all ages.

In ancient times, during the Harvest Festival, Martorell would come alive with the grape-treading and the production of must. Today, the Roser Festival keeps this legacy alive and serves as a meeting point between the past and the present, where the world of wine takes centre stage.

The programme offers a wide range of activities to help you discover and enjoy the town: workshops, wine tastings, theatre-style museum tours, folk culture, local product, fashion, cinema and live music. A diverse and inclusive festival, designed so that everyone can find something to enjoy.

One of the most eagerly awaited events is VIMART, the Martorell Wine and Cava Fair, an unmissable event for Wine and food lovers. The historical center (Plaça de l' Esglèsia) becomes the setting for this fair, with stands devoted to wines, cavas and food products, all in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
