The Cornellà International Clown Festival - Memorial Charlie Rivel is one of the leading international festivals dedicated to clowning and the performing arts. Every two years, Cornellà welcomes some of the world's finest clowns and performers, who bring a wide variety of shows to audiences of all ages, with a particular focus on schoolchildren.

First held in 1984, with renowned clown Tortell Poltrona as its first artistic director, the festival has since become a much-loved tradition and an integral part of the city's cultural identity.
